Onigiri / menu at the top

    Hello,

    I have some questions concerning the Onigiri theme:

    1/ Can I set the menu at the top of the page instead of at the bottom?

    2/ Is it possible to make a sticky menu in desktop and in mobile (now it doesn't work like that on mobile)?

    3/ In the Journal page some of the posts have clickable images (that link to the post sub-page), others don't. Is it possible to make all the thumbnails interactive so that they link to the post?

    I would be grateful for your answer,

    Hanna

    Hi Hanna,

    1) you can use additional CSS code to reposition the menu. The following sample code can be a start:

    @media screen and (min-width: 1150px) {
        .menu-container {
            bottom: auto;
            top: 0;
        }
    }

    2) Sample CSS code:

    @media screen and (max-width: 1149px) {
        #mobile-menu-toggle,
        #site-nav {
            position: fixed;
            z-index: 102;
        }
        #site-nav {
            z-index: 101;
        }
        #site-nav {
            width: 100%;
            background: #fff;
        }
    }

    3) Only featured images of the posts will be linked. Additional images inside the post's content can be individually configured to link somewhere.

    Best,
    Marc

    Hey Marc,

    Thanks for you help. I am using the sticky menu code and it's working!

    But now the menu on mobile is covering the content that are on top of the pages.

    How can I move down a bit the content on mobile so they appear again?

    Regards,

    Ícaro.

    Hi Ícaro,

    please try the following additional CSS code:

    #main-wrap {
        padding-top: 84px;
    }
    @media screen and (min-width: 1023px) {
        #main-wrap {
            padding-top: 0;
        }
    }

    Best,
    Marc
