    Hi Elma & co.

    Thank you for the Onigiri theme, I am very fond of it!

    I have a few questions though:

    1) I would love to change the term 'Search' in the search field to 'Søg' (same, but in Danish). How is it possible? I m working for a customer in WordPress.com and I don't have access to their FTP and files.

    2) I would love to remove the Featured image from (inside) any 'Post'. I mean; I would like to have a featured image in the Post feed (same as Journal in your demo), but not inside the actual Post. Does it make any sense? :) In other words I would like it to work as for Portfolio 'Projects': when I choose a featured image it is only shown in the Portfolio overview, not in the actual Project.

    Hi Sandra,

    in case you're using the WordPress.com version of Onigiri please ask your question again here: https://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/elmastudio/onigiri/

    If you're using Onigiri for self hosted WordPress installations on a WordPress.com Business plan, you may be able to install the Loco Translate plugin to create a Danish language file for the theme. With this plugin you can translate each string provided by the theme.

    2) You can use the following additional CSS code to hide the featured image from single post pages:

    .single-post .entry-thumbnail {
        display: none;
    }

    Best,
    Marc

    Thank you so much! Both of your answers worked just perfect.

    I have two more questions, should I open a new ticket?

    Anyway, I can start by asking them here:

    3) Where to I rename the standard URL paths?

    E.g.: I'd like to rename from the Portfolio paths (since I use the portfolio for something else than an actual portfolio) from "domain.com/portfolio/..." to a custom path. The same for the standard path "domain.com/project-type/..."

    4) Can I remove the backwards/onwards arrows from the 'Related Posts' area? (Only the arrows, e.g. the backwards arrow to the left on attached image:)).

    Again, thank you for your help, it's been great already!

    Best, Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

    currently I'm not aware of a solution to change the URL slugs. Please ask this question in the Jetpack support forum.

    You can hide elements with additional CSS code using the display property. Most browsers provide a tool to inspect the used CSS code of elements. Simply right click on an element and select "Inspect Element", "Element Information" or else and the tool will open. It shows the used CSS and how to address the elements in custom code.

    The mentioned arrow is fixed positioned and has nothing to do with the related posts area. The following sample code would hide it:

    #nav-single .nav-previous {
        display: none;
    }

    Please understand that we cannot provide support for individual customizations.

    Best,
    Marc
