Hi, I need to have a private page with a special portefolio on my Onigiri template website which is different to the one you find on my homepage.

    How can I do?

Ellen advice me this but dont know how to do this? "in general the Jetpack portfolio feature only offers one portfolio option. But you could use a specific portfolio category that can be excluded from the main portfolio and then added to a private clients site. Would that work for you?"

PS. this is urgent!! thx ;)

    Hi caudron,

can you specify what you mean with private?

You can create project types in your dashboard and assign posts to it. Unfortunately I'm not sure if there is a plugin available to exclude projects assigned to this project type from Onigiri's portfolio page. Maybe you'd need to adjust the theme code for this. I strongly recommend using a child theme for direct code adjustments. A prepared child theme folder is linked in the Onigiri documentation.

I can guide you through the process, if you're willing to install a child theme.

    Best,
    Marc

    Hi, thx for your reply.

For exemple, I need to have a different portfolio to show confidential work to certain person (different to the work shown on the main portfolio)

I found this and thought it was helpful, but can't find the "Category Include" boxe (3:29 on the video) on my template…

Maybe its not the right way??

    Hi caudron,

to publish confidential details you'd need a plugin to hide specific content from the public. Let's assume we would implement a custom page template to display a chosen project type and set a password for it. The projects themselves would be accessible by the public, even though the page can only be viewed entering a password.

The video shows a specific page template. I'm not sure which customizations or plugins are used by the author.

Please understand that we cannot provide support for individual customizations.

    Best,
    Marc
